Elian the 'Communist'. Uh-huh. Riiiiight.

Elian Gonzalez a communist. Everyone sees past this farce except the left and the media. Look at the Associated Press caption for this photo:

"Cuban young militant Elian Gonzalez delivers a speech during an event marking the 80th anniversary of the birth of the Cuban National hero, Argentinean Ernesto 'Che' Guevara in Havana, Saturday, June 14, 2008. Gonzalez, the Cuban boy at the center of an international custody battle eight years ago, has joined Cuba's Young Communist Union. Communist youth newspaper Juventud Rebelde quotes Elian Gonzalez as saying he will never let down ex-President Fidel Castro and his brother Raul Castro, who succeeded Fidel earlier this year."

Disgusting. Cuban exiles must be laughing their asses off at this show. Cuba is very much still a brutally oppressive fear society. Did any expect Elian to join the very popular "Young Cuban Entrepreneurs Club" or the "Young Cuban Democracy League"? Oh yeah, those clubs, nor do any remotely like the ones mentioned exist since Fidel seized power. What a joke. Hopefully one day, Cuba, as well as Elian will be free...

Viva Cuba Libre!!
